Jim Lauckner, an expert in the areas of Recruiting and Retention, manages J*Lis Management Consulting.
Jim has over twenty-six years experience as a Director and Manager of Recruiting, having started his career as a headhunter for twelve years. He has initiated and implemented successful recruiting and retention systems for several Information Systems organizations and Services companies. He has consulted to firms in the Healthcare, Manufacturing and Pharmaceutical industries. Two of these firms grew their staffs and their revenue by over 200%. Jim has also managed the software selection and reporting procedures for large national companies with multiple locations.
As a manager he has hired, trained and managed recruiters and sales personnel. He has created and taught formal classroom sessions on:
- How to recruit, especially the passive candidate.
- How to interview and create your company branding.
- Choosing and hiring the right candidate.
- Making the offer and having your candidate say, "Yes".
- Learn to plan from reporting.
As an Information Systems Consultant Jim has managed and sold services to several accounts while managing a staff of five. He also had responsibility for a computer network, including all hardware and software purchasing for a fifty person consulting practice.
Since 1978 he has had budget and salary responsibilities for the areas that he managed. For all twenty-five years, his departments delivered their services successfully and under budget.
